Uplighting Rental NYC

At NYC Productions, we offer professional uplighting rentals to enhance the atmosphere of any event. Whether you’re planning a wedding, corporate gala, private party, or live performance, our high-quality lighting solutions bring elegance, depth, and vibrancy to your venue.

Uplighting works by placing small LED fixtures along the base of a wall, column, or architectural feature, pointing the light upward instead of down. It’s a simple technique, but it changes how a room reads more than almost any other lighting move — a plain ballroom with white walls looks completely different once the walls themselves are washed in color instead of just lit from overhead.

Most of our uplighting is wireless and battery-powered, which means no cable runs across the floor and placement isn’t limited to where an outlet happens to be. We typically walk the venue ahead of time to count fixtures and map out where they’ll go — a room with a lot of columns or alcoves needs a different count than an open room with long straight walls, and getting that number right is most of what separates a room that looks finished from one that looks under-lit.

Uplighting is often paired with more targeted lighting for a complete look. If your event also needs pinspot lighting for centerpieces or decor lighting for other accents around the room, we can build all of it into one design and one setup crew.
